ISW Acquires Ability Suite
Australian software company, ISW an IBM Premier Business Partner has acquired New Zealand company Ability Software for an undisclosed sum.
Ability Suite is a range of IBM Lotus Notes/Domino applications that add value to customer deployments of the IBM Collaboration Solutions Platform.
"The addition of this portfolio extends ISW's ability to increase the effectiveness of our customer deployments", said Tim Royle, Executive Director, ISW. "We are integrating the Ability products into ISW's product set, leveraging from the strengths of both. Our initial focus is to step up support for Ability customers around the world."
The main Ability Suite products are as follows:
AbilitySuite ECMA (Email Content Management and Archiving) Formerly Mailability
AbilitySuite CRM Formerly ContactAbility
AbilitySuite PMO Project Management Office (Time tracking and Project management)
AbilitySuite eforms formerly AbilitySuite DMWF (document management and workflow) formerly AdaptAbility
AbilitySuite Enterprise Identity Manager (EIM)
Abilitysuite CSP (Central Search Portal) formerly Control Centre
AbilitySuite Category Instantiation
AbilitySuite Configuration Manger Application Id generator (Formerly Unlock Key Generator)
AbilitySuite Sales Forecasting

ISW has appointed NZ based Crossware to act as first line support for NZ based customers. ISW will continue development of the software and provide direct support to all other customers.
