March 21 (BusinessDesk) – Embattled Local Government Minister Nick Smith has resigned all of his ministerial portfolios after coming under increasing pressure over his advocacy of an ACC claimant.
Smith made a personal statement to the House where he tendered his resignation, which Prime Minister John Key. He faced more questioning over his use of a ministerial letterhead in support of Bronwyn Pullar, a National Party activist who inadvertently received private ACC details of other claimants.
