Auckland, 15 March 2012.
An online learning platform for Orion Health’s global staff has just gone live after a successful pilot last month, which saw staff in the company’s California office complete an induction programme.
The successful pilot means the Orion Health Academy will be rolled out to Orion Health’s 13 offices worldwide.
The Academy is a collaboration between Wellington-based e-learning company Kineo Pacific and Orion Health, and is based on Totara learning management system.
Both companies share Kiwi roots in the development of their products. Totara Learning Solutions is based in New Zealand and part-owned by the global Kineo e-learning company.
Linda Smith, Global Education Director for Orion Health said, “The flexibility and cost effectiveness Totara provides makes it the perfect solution to deliver our global training initiatives.”
Nolen Smith, Director of Business Development of Kineo Pacific said the company was very excited that Orion Health, a true Kiwi success story, has chosen to partner with Kineo Pacific to deploy Totara LMS for the Orion Health Academy.
