Representatives from major meat plants to visit lockout

Fifty delegates from every major meat plant in New Zealand will join locked out ANZCO workers this Thursday at 5am by the Marton turnoff on State Highway 1.

The New Zealand Meat Workers Union (NZMWU) delegates will come from as far as Invercargill in the deep south and Moerewa in the far north.

ANZCO locked out over 100 NZMWU members from their CMP Rangitikei sheep plant on October 19.

Supporters are invited to join the delegates at the picket for a day of action.
