Datacraft’s Offer to Acquire Integral Axon now Unconditional
Company focused on delivering benefits to clients
New Zealand, 3rd November 2010 – Datacraft, a leading specialist IT solutions and services provider, announced today that its offer to acquire 100% of Integral Axon Computer Systems, a privately held IT services company, is now unconditional.
On 6th October 2010 Datacraft, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dimension Data Holdings plc - a US$4 billion global ICT organisation which operates in 49 countries across five continents - announced that the offer was conditional.
Robin Hartendorp, Managing Director, Datacraft in New Zealand said he was pleased that all conditions had been satisfied or waived, and the offer had been declared wholly unconditional.
“The acquisition of Integral Axon more than doubles the size and scale of our New Zealand business. Together, we have over 400 national clients across all sectors of the economy and employ just under 600 people.
“Our combined capability and strength positions Datacraft as one of the major ICT services organisations in New Zealand. Our vision is to fast track our clients’ success by delivering innovative ICT services and solutions that enable them to achieve their business objectives rapidly; particularly in the areas of managed services and cloud computing. The merger accelerates our ability to do that
“The clients that we have spoken to and our staff have responded very positively towards the acquisition and can see the benefits it can bring for both sides. Over the next few weeks we will be working to integrate the teams and share a unified go-to-market approach for both companies,” Hartendorp said.
This transaction follows the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of Dimension Data for GBP 2.1 billion, which went unconditional on 15th October 2010.
