Free HD Channels To Telstraclear Customers

TVNZ Provide TV One & TV2 HD Channels Free To Telstraclear’s PVR Set Top Box Customers

TelstraClear has launched the T-Box its High Definition capable personal video recorder and TV ONE and TV2 HD channels will be free for all TelstraClear customers who choose TelstraClear's dual or triple play service with the T-Box option.
TVNZ and TelstraClear have come to an agreement for TV ONE & TV2 HD CHANNELS to be delivered to TelstraClear customers on its cable network in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch.
TelstraClear has 43,000 TV customers who receive this service via its advanced cable network. Many of these customers have chosen TelstraClear unique triple play service.
Steve Jackson, TelstraClear Head of Consumer says ; “TelstraClear is very pleased to be able to deliver TVNZ’s high value portfolio of programmes on TV ONE & TV2 in HD to our Triple Play customers”
TVNZ’s Head of Digital Media and Digital Channels Eric Kearley said the move continued the company’s strategy of “inspiring New Zealanders on every screen”.
“TelstraClear’s advanced cable network is available to people in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch and now they can opt to receive TV ONE and TV2 in high definition,” Mr Kearley said. “The agreement recognises the popularity of TVNZ’s two major channels and the company’s commitment to making the content as accessible as possible.”
