Leaky Home Financial Assistance Package
The New Zealand Bankers’ Association retail bank members – ANZ, ASB, BNZ, HSBC, Kiwibank, National Bank, Rabobank, TSB and Westpac - commend the Government on their approach announced today to the weather tightness issues that many New Zealanders are facing.
Chief Executive of the NZBA, Sarah Mehrtens says, “While no commitment has been made, our retail member banks have indicated they are keen to work collectively with Government to flesh out the detail of the proposed package.”
“Member banks have agreed to set up a joint industry and government working group to do so,” she said.
