New Harcourts office opened in fast-growing Rolleston
22 October 2009: Harcourts multi-office franchise Four Seasons Realty has opened a branch in the Christchurch satellite town of Rolleston to ensure it can better serve buyers and sellers in the fast-growing Selwyn District.
Located at Shop 13 in Rolleston Square, the retail heart of Selwyn District, the new Harcourts office was opened this week by Four Seasons co-owners Kevin McKay and Rana Ransley along with branch manager and Rolleston office shareholder Ross Mitchell, an experienced realtor previously with another real estate brand.
Mrs Ransley and Mr McKay say the new Harcourts office in Rolleston is a logical expansion for their franchise, which already has branches in Hornby, Halswell and Hoon Hay and a joint venture property management company based in Hornby.
Rolleston is rapidly developing as a satellite town of Christchurch with retail, commercial, industrial, residential, lifestyle and rural property in the town and surrounding areas becoming increasingly popular,” the pair says.
“While some of our existing sales consultants have been working out there we have made the strategic decision to invest in establishing a permanent Harcourts presence in this fast-growing area so we can better serve existing and new clients.”
Mr Mitchell, who is an experienced residential, lifestyle and commercial property sales consultant, says he is excited about the potential of the new Harcourts Rolleston office, which boasts the largest real estate team in the town and is serving what is one of the fastest growing districts in New Zealand.
“Harcourts is a great, established brand, we’ve got an excellent team of both experienced and new and enthusiastic sales consultants and with the excellent leadership, systems and support of Four Seasons and the wider Harcourts group I’m confident we’ll be able to deliver top quality service and carve out a strong market share in this developing Canterbury area,” he says.
As Mr Mitchell explains, the Harcourts Rolleston team will initially be focused on residential, lifestyle and rural property marketing and sales, but as it grows they may also get involved in other sectors of the market.
Harcourts New Zealand CEO Bryan Thomson has welcomed the establishment of a new Harcourts office in Rolleston.
“Four Seasons has recognised the potential of a dedicated Harcourts office in this progressive rural town in order to better support the existing population and to cater to the increasing number of people who are interested in buying in the area,” Mr Thomson says.
“It’s great to see Kevin, Rana and Ross taking the initiative and I have every confidence that they and their Harcourts Rolleston team will be of huge benefit to buyers and sellers in the area.”
