NZ’s first SME business marketplace
In conjunction with Her Magazine, the 11th annual BLOOM forum and awards is set to be a blooming success.
The forum will provide a totally interactive ‘business marketplace’ from Wednesday 24 - Thursday 25 June 2009.
BLOOM Organiser, Annah Stretton says she is determined to let the women attending “do business - not just talk about business”.
“Every businesswoman attending can focus on growing their business by doing business one-to-one for two days.”
Where necessary, attendees can put their business through a robust health check that involves delegation, marketing, office technology, money management, franchising, partnerships in business and attracting and retaining talented staff.
This year’s speakers will include World of Wearable Arts founder, Suzie Moncrieff; Pet Angels founder, Laura Humphreys; Minister of Women’s Affairs, Pansy Wong; Designer of Taylor Boutique, Vicki Taylor; Les Floralies and EGG founder, Colyn Devereux-Kay; Mike Pero Mortgages founder, Mike Pero; former world squash champion, Dame Susan Devoy; Healtheries CEO, Sarah Kennedy and Managing Director of PORSE inhome childcare and winner of the 2008 Her Businesswoman of the Year, Jenny Yule.
The conference will kick off on Wednesday 24 June at the Heritage Hotel, Hobson Street Auckland CBD.
On this night will be the Her Businesswoman of the Year Awards.
