Auckland Anniversary Weekend Brings $50,000 Poker Championship To SKYCITY
From Monday 19 January SKYCITY Auckland will be holding the inaugural SKYCITY Auckland Anniversary Poker Championship. With a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000, the more players that compete for this prize, the more the prize will grow!
Satellites that could win you entry into the main event start on Monday 19 January, with the main event taking place across Sunday 25 January and Monday 26 January.
Players can enter the satellite games from as little as $40NZD, or buy straight into the main event, for $1,100NZD.
Among the players competing in this event will be kiwi Daniel Cracker, winner of the 2008 SKYCITY Festival of Poker. Daniel has recently come back from competing in the APPT Grand Final at Sydney’s Star City Casino, which was part of his prize, won in the SKYCITY Festival of Poker.
