Federation Lures Vodafone Account Leader From Aim Proximity
After a string of major new business wins in less than nine months, communications agency Federation has made a major new senior appointment to its team.
Founder and Director of Federation Sharon Henderson (former Managing Director of DDB New Zealand) today announced the appointment of Senior Group Account Director Liz Adams, current head of the Vodafone account at Aim Proximity. Adams also headed the Air New Zealand account for that agency for many years.
Henderson said: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Liz a number of times over the years. She has a formidable track record in running accounts with a strong requirement for digital technology and e-communication. She is one of the calmest and most capable hands-on suits I know and has personally headed some of the best digital campaigns I’ve seen for Air New Zealand. Her appointment is a coup for Federation and a clear indication of the role that digital plays within our consumer engagement approach.”
Murray Reid from Federation added: “Liz will lead the day to day business of the Fisher & Paykel Finance Group account for Federation which includes Farmers Finance Card. It’s a reflection on our clients that after only nine months, we’re attracting personnel with the skills and credentials of Liz. We’re thrilled to have her joining our team.”
Prior to heading the Vodafone account, Adams was Group Account Director leading the implementation of the successful e-tail and e-commerce strategy for Air New Zealand.
