What the World Needs Now is Love Sweet Love
'Wealth' the Subject of Upcoming Positive-News Ezine for Kiwis
If you're looking for a little more Christmas cheer this season Happyzine may be just the answer for you. Happyzine is New Zealand's free monthly positive news ezine, the next edition being due to be sent to subscribers December 1st.
Founder of Happyzine – Charlotte Squire – says she set up Happyzine to provide a complimentary positive media source for Kiwis. "I knew some people who weren't bothering to tune into any media at all, because they found it too depressing, so I thought I'd provide something different, something uplifting that helps people feel a little more hope about the world".
Happyzine features positive news about youth, the environment, upcoming events, and inspirational New Zealanders. It also includes uplifting audio pieces, websites, music, advice from mentors and visual art, as well as general positive news from home and beyond.
"For every bad news story you hear about, there are many more positive ones, it's only a matter of finding them."
Squire says that the upcoming December edition focusses on 'Wealth', with previous Happyzines having themes such as 'Perseverence', 'Courage', and 'Following Your Bliss'.
"This coming month features discussion about the many different meanings of 'wealth', it has a piece by NLP practicioner Ali Scott on the wealth of food avalaible to us via Intuitive Eating; an introduction to New Zealand's most successful complimentary money system – HANDS – which defines strong community as a symbol of wealth; some interesting profiles, great Kiwi art, heaps of good news from around the world and here at home, and more. The aim is to inspire readers to feel excited about their future and their children's futures."
It takes two minutes to subscribe to Happyzine and Squire says she hopes people will make the most of a "great Kiwi made service".
