Results Announced For The 2008 Fonterra Elections
Returning Officer Warwick Lampp, of electionz.com Ltd, has announced the 2008 election results for the Fonterra Board of Directors, Directors’ Remuneration Committee and
Shareholders’ Council.
Incumbent Directors Greg Gent and Jim van der Poel were re-elected to the Board. They will be joined by one new
Director, John Monaghan. Incumbent Director, Earl Rattray, was not re-elected.
In 12 of the 14 Shareholders’ Council wards where elections were due, only one nomination for the Shareholders’
Councillor role was received so the nominees were elected unopposed. The Councillors in those wards are:

Elections were held in Ward 1 – Northern Northland and Ward 22 - Central Taranaki, where the following Shareholders’
Councillors were elected:

Ellen Bartlett, David Manderson, John Nicholls, Terence Brocx and Grant Boyde are all new Shareholders’Councillors.
The Directors’Remuneration Committee also welcomes a new member with the election of Philip Wilson. Incumbent Murray
Holdaway was re-elected.
