JUCY wins Aussie ‘oscars’.
JUCY Rentals, NZ’s fastest growing car and campervan company won the Best Transport Company award (NZ) last week at the TNT Golden Backpack awards. (Thursday 13 November)
The awards are based on votes collected from tourists all over Australia and New Zealand. Other finalists in the category were Backpacker Campervans (THL), Explore More (THL) and Spaceships.
Says Tim Alpe, CEO, “These are the ‘Oscars’ of the backpacking industry in Australasia. To be up against two of THL’s companys and be voted by customers as the best in the country is fantastic.
“We have spent a lot of money on developing the JUCY brand but its no good being all brand if your team don’t meet the needs of your customers and provide quality, clean campers. So this award celebrates the hard work of the entire JUCY team to give tourists a great kiwi time.”
JUCY Lucy, the JUCY iconic brand can now be found on the East Coast of Australia. JUCY Rentals are now operating campervans from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns, Canberra.
“We see this as an exciting time for JUCY. We are getting a great response and the fact that we have expanded into two more cities shows the demand for the JUCY product.” ends Tim.
Since launching in Australia in April 2008, JUCY Rentals has built up a fleet of 200 campervans. With branches in 5 major cities across Australia, JUCY is quickly becoming a major player in the campervan market in Australia. JUCY Rentals began in 2002 with 35 second hand cars and today has over 2000 cars and campervans throughout New Zealand and Australia.
