Datacraft NZ plays a key role in the design and implementation of a small business communications make-over
Wellington 13th November 2008 – Datacraft collaborates with Cisco Systems inc. to implement a $50k business make-over. The make-over campaign, sponsored by Cisco, is being launched in conjunction with TV3’s ASB Business show.
The concept of the Business Communications Make-over follows the format of the various popular TV make-over’s such as Mitre 10 DIY and My House My Castle but this time with a unique focus on small business transformation through the use of Unified Communications technology. The make-over, which is a part of a larger Unified Communications Campaign called Imagine-if, will highlight how Unified Communications can transform the way we do business in New Zealand, no matter the size of the business.
The winner for the business transformation make-over is a company called Procreate (http://www.procreate.co.nz/) based in Albany. They were chosen from a total of 98 entries due to their positioning as an innovative and collaborative company. Procreate specialise in professional product creation and take a holistic approach to product design and development. The make-over will start on the 3rd week of November and a story on the make-over will be aired on TV3.
This Business Make-over will be an opportunity for Datacraft to demonstrate its capability and experience in the implementation of Unified Communication solutions. While Datacraft has developed this expertise from completing many integration projects for NZ corporate and Government organisations, they are confident these solutions are equally relevant to small businesses such as Procreate.
Phil Goodwin, GM Solutions Marketing from Datacraft explained, “This makeover reflects the way we work with Cisco. They provide the leading solutions and we compliment them with our full service capability which includes design, integration and ongoing support. In NZ terms, we have an enormous capability in this space including 14 Cisco Certified Internetworking Engineers (CCIEs).”
Datacraft is Cisco’s gold partner and is Cisco’s only global Advanced Technology Partner in Telepresence (Cisco’s high definition Video Conferencing technology). Together with their parent
Company Dimension Data, Datacraft was responsible for installing all of Cisco’s 223 TelePresence suites around the world.
