Eight businesses in line for the top NZ Action Coach business awards in Auckland next week
The best New Zealand business will be announced at the fourth annual Action Coach Business Awards in Auckland next week.
Eight award winners will be announced at a gala function in the Stamford Plaza Hotel on November 21.
NZ Action Coach spokesman Bruce Wilson said today one business in the running supplying seasonal product freed up $270,000 of cash in four months by identifying their best selling products, quitting slow lines and having a pre-season promotion.
``This business grew from a loss of $40,000 to cash surplus of $67,000 in eight months by tweaking advertising, setting pricing accurately and following up quotes.
``Action coaches have been helping and mentoring more than 420 NZ businesses in the last year. We have coached franchises in global chains but they don’t like publicising that. Our usual clients are the small to medium sized businesses - the heartland grafters,’’ Wilson said.
The Action Coach awards to be named are: best of the year award, out of the blocks awards, middle distance achievement, best marketing, best team development, leverage award, best financial performance and best entrepreneur.
Action Coach are one of the top rated business coaching franchises in the world. They have been ranked by Entrepreneur Magazine as the No.1 business consulting service franchise in the world, one of the top 100 franchises overall and one of the Top 25 fastest growing franchises.
