Christchurch Law Firm Takes Out Top National Awards
One of Christchurch’s leading law firms, Lane Neave, came away with five major awards at the 2008 New Zealand Law Awards on Friday night at the Auckland Town Hall.
The firm won the First Mortgage Trust Banking and Finance Law Award, the Fujitsu Infinitylaw Corporate and Commercial Law Award, the CCH Employment Law Award and the Elementary Solutions Litigation and Dispute Resolution Award. The firm’s final award was the Terralink Property Law Award. Clients nominate the law firms for these awards.
Lane Neave Chief Executive Officer Meryll Waters says she’s extremely proud of the firm’s achievement and puts its success down to its focus on exceptional client service.
“This is the culmination of our efforts to consistently provide high quality service to our clients. We are immensely proud of the team at Lane Neave for this amazing achievement.”
Lane Neave Board Chairman Stephen Collins says winning five awards against such strong competition from some of the most well-known law firms in the country is a remarkable achievement.
“It was a very humbling yet fantastic experience to be in Auckland on Friday night collecting so many awards on behalf of Lane Neave, particularly in light of the quality of the competition at the New Zealand Law Awards. It was great to see Lane Neave’s hard work receive national recognition and even more pleasing that our clients voted for us so enthusiastically.”
