Business Excellence Awards Finalists Announced
Sir Robin Gray, Chairman of the Award’s Judges has announced the finalists of the prestigious 2008 Westpac Otago Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. The finalists were short listed from a robust number of entrants with over 88 businesses confirmed across 118 category entries. Winners of the Awards will be announced at a special ceremony on Friday 21 November 2008.
Sir Robin Gray reinforced the impressive quality and diversity of Dunedin and Otago entrants. Otago Chamber of Commerce chief executive John Christie said the Westpac Supreme Business Excellence Award winner will be announced at the dinner.
The OBIZ Awards were established by Westpac and the Otago Chamber of Commerce to celebrate business excellence in Otago. The aim of the awards is to help people focus and promote their business, and to present them with the opportunity to gain recognition for their achievements.
