Breeze Up Clips Now Online
The Breeze Up clips for two-year-olds entered in New Zealand Bloodstock's 2008 Ready to Run Sale are now available for
viewing online at wwwnzb.co.nz .
This year's Breeze Ups were staged at the Waikato Racing Club's Te Rapa racecourse on the 20th & 21st October, with 375 well-educated thoroughbreds videoed and timed galloping over 200m of the home straight.
Please note that track conditions improved from the first day to the second day of filming. On the first day breeze ups
were staged on a turf track rated a Slow 8 with a penetrometer reading of 4.2, whilst on the second day the track read a
Dead 6 with a penetrometer of 3.4.
There is an added enhancement to the online version of the 2009 Ready to Run Sale catalogue, with an extended search
feature not available before now. As well as searching sale entrants using the lot, sire, dam and vendor search tabs, it
is now possible to search for a keyword within a pedigree, allowing buyers to instantly find notable relatives to any
two-year-old in the Sale. Click here to try out this new search function.
Online clips can be viewed using QuickTime. Please note that problems may be encountered if the latest version of
QuickTime has not been installed on your computer. To upgrade to the latest version (QuickTime 7.2) click the QuickTime
link below the video clip when a lot number is selected. This is approximately a 20MB download.
New Zealand Bloodstock's Ready to Run sale takes place at Karaka on the 18th & 19th of November 2008, where the Breeze Up Clip Cyber Café will again be available for buyers convenience.
