Cruize Milford launches new express coach service this weekend
A leading Milford Sound tourist operator Cruize Milford launches a daily express coach service from November 1 which will increase business.
Cruise Milford begins a luxury shuttle coach service every day from Saturday between Te Anau and Milford, for tourists seeking a boat trip out in the World Heritage Park on Milford Sound.
Cruize Milford director Tim Alpe said the coach service will be the cheapest tourist bus to Milford, retailing at $99 return, including the boat trip out past Mitre Peak.
``The investment comes at a time when most tourism companies are pulling back due to the uncertainty of tourism arrivals as a result of the credit crisis. We see this as an important market for promoting Milford Sound.’’
Cruize Milford is part of the Jucy tourist and travel group of companies and Alpe said they had plans to announce further launches and projects over the next six months.
Their Milford company operates four boat trips a day and they are able to get close to the rocks, waterfalls and wildlife.
Cruize Milford has just donated a cheque for $6528 to the Te Anau Emergency Services.
