Shell drops petrol price by 8 cents per litre and diesel price by 6 cents per litre
Shell has led a 8 cents per litre decrease in petrol prices and 6 cents per litre decrease in diesel prices, effective 11.30am today, Friday 17 October.
Shell fuel (at the majority of Shell outlets) is now priced at:
Ultra 91 $181.9 (down 8cpl) V-Power $186.9 (down 8cpl) Diesel $135.9 (down 6cpl)
While crude oil has been steadily falling, we are now seeing the decrease flow through into the cost of refined product. The kiwi dollar has also stabilised over the last couple of days, helping us to pass on this significant saving to motorists.
This is the second time this week that Shell has led the price decrease.
Diesel has dropped 50 cents since the 8th of July. The last diesel price decrease was 6cpl on Wednesday, 15 October 2008.
