Momentum Gains Pace with Key Appointment
Auckland, New Zealand, Monday, 06 October, 2008: Bede Ashby, Managing Director of leading independent recruitment company Momentum, today formally announced the appointment of Michelle Boag, one of New Zealand's highest profile public relations practitioners, to the Momentum Group of Companies.
The appointment of Boag follows Momentum's recent acquisition of her company PR People, which was formed to meet the needs of candidates and employers operating in the public relations and communications industry.
At Momentum (through the PR People brand, which will be retained) she will complement and contribute to the existing Sales and Marketing and Executive Leasing divisions. Boag will also work at a more senior level with CEO and executive level recruitment, as opposed to just in the PR and communications sector.
"Momentum has significant presence in the communications and PR space and Michelle's arrival further strengthens our offering in this area and we're absolutely delighted to have her on board," says Bede Ashby.
"With over 25 years experience she has unparalleled networks, is very adept at connecting people with organisational opportunities and will bolster our capabilities in the search and selection assignment area," says Bede Ashby.
Michelle Boag is equally enthusiastic about the new relationship: "Momentum will enable me to use my networks across the entire spectrum of the business community so it is a brilliant fit for both businesses," she says.
