REINZ recent sales statistics data added to Property Guru
Subscribers to REINZ Statistics Service will have access to a new level of integrated sales data via the internet product Property Guru later this year, thanks to a new agreement signed today between Terralink International and Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ).
This, for the first time within the industry, brings the two key property sales datasets together seamlessly via leading industry online tools available through Terralink’s Property Guru. With this integrated information at their fingertips, real estate agents will be able to conduct higher level analysis allowing them to provide more informed advice to their clients.
Terralink’s Managing Director, Mike Donald, says: “the agreement gives real estate agents a new level of quality land and property information. Real estate agents will be able to have ready access to improved information which means they can add further value to the work they do in the market. Integrating REINZ recent sales statistics, which includes those sales which have been made, but yet to be settled, with the normal sales information which flows through after settlement will enable a more complete and current picture to be obtained.
REINZ National President, Murray Cleland said the agreement with Terralink fits well with REINZ’s drive to enhance the delivery of superior land and property information services to its members, and ultimately to their clients. “This agreement will result in real estate agents providing a higher standard customer service and value to both buyers and sellers. By incorporating the REINZ recent sales statistics with Terralink data, our members will have immediate access to the best and most up-to-date information on property sales, with easy to use and comprehensive tools allowing more informed analysis and decision making, along with the added benefit of a wider choice of product,” Mr Cleland said.
In addition Mr Cleland said REINZ and Terralink were natural partners because, between the two organisations, they hold the most comprehensive national land and property information data, and they are able to deliver this information through innovative services such as Property Guru specifically tailored to meet the needs of real estate agents.
The enhancements to Property Guru are expected to be available to the industry within the next few months. Also under development, REINZ’s property information applications are progressing well and anticipated to be accessible to its members in the near future.
