Exporters to accelerate ahead
Business people wanting to improve their export operations could soon accelerate ahead of the competition with the help
of Vision Manawatu’s new export training programme.
The fully-funded course would provide rapid development of individual and company export capability according to
Business Development Manager, Christine Jones.
“It’s a top level course that would otherwise cost companies thousands to attend but Vision Manawatu can offer this
programme at no cost.”
The format is based on the highly successful Smart Business Acceleration Programme and will be run in conjunction with
the New Zealand School of Export after Vision Manawatu secured funding from the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, she
said.
“This intense up-skilling takes commitment from participating business people but it will be worth it.”
Graduates will leave with a clear plan and tools to achieve growth and exporting acumen.
She believed there would be big pay backs for participating companies from increased export sales and higher
international profiles to the ability to better predict industry specific future global trends.
“After the course, follow up coaching and support is provided to maintain the momentum.”
The first session starts September 23.
