SLI Systems Appoints Mark Brixton As Its
Australasian Sales Director
Christchurch-based SLI Systems, the international provider of on-demand search services for Internet and e-commerce
sites, has appointed Mark Brixton as its Australasian sales director.
SLI Systems, which was established seven years ago, generates 90 percent of its revenues offshore from search technology
that enables predominantly e-commerce retailers to increase sales by enabling their customers to more easily find the
products and services they require.
Mr Brixton, as SLI’s Australasian Sales Director will be based in Christchurch and be responsible for servicing the
company’s current business and further developing the scale of the business in the region.
Dr Shaun Ryan, SLI System’s chief executive said, “With the growth of e-commerce in the region, we have increased our
focus on our home markets; New Zealand and Australia. Mark’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to this region.”
Mark’s previous roles have included working for Australian online directory company Sensis, one of the largest providers
of online media in Australia; as an affiliate manager for Kiwi Gaming; and, most recently, as a sales manager for APN
managing their southern region team of field staff.
Educated at Christ’s College and the University of Canterbury, Mark has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (majoring in
marketing and human resources). Away from the workplace he enjoys skiing, cycling, running and boating.
