EXCOM branches out across the Pacific
Multi-award winning training partner EXCOM Education is set to take its successful IT training formula to IT professionals and aspirants across the Pacific, as it officially opens its world class training facility in Auckland on Thursday 21st August.
The launch of the Auckland training facility comes hot on the heels of the training provider’s successful launch in the Singaporean market in November 2007, a strong New Zealand job market and the national employment rate grew by a further 2.5%* in the June quarter.
“The Information Technology sector is one of New Zealand’s fastest growing industries and with new technologies being adopted and implemented into businesses, it made sense to begin research and due diligence in the market to enable us to bring EXCOM’s expertise and knowledge to New Zealand,” said Managing Director, Paul Koukounaras.
“The launch of our Auckland branch is another step towards achieving our long-term objectives for growth across the Pacific and South East Asia region. The new branch will present us with an array of opportunities with our clients and partners both within Australia and New Zealand,” said Mr Koukounaras.
Located in the city’s CBD, EXCOM’s new branch offers IT professionals and organisations high quality technical training from worldwide vendors including Microsoft, Cisco, Novell and other technologies while also giving IT aspirants the possibility to enter the IT job market in as little as four months guaranteed through the highly successful EXpress IT training and job placement programme.
“The New Zealand IT industry is calling out for professionals who are equipped with the skills and certifications to ensure the growth within the sector continues to flourish. In a market that is continuously growing and employers seeking the answers to ensure their employees and organisations are operating on the world stage, EXCOM will bring the latest skills and expertise to ensure these organisations are not left behind,” said Mr Koukounaras.
The Auckland training facility is located at Level 8, 385 Queen Street, Auckland 1010.
