Intrepid Wins Another Gold PATA Award!
Intrepid Travel is thrilled to announce that its e-newsletter Express has won the 2008 PATA Gold Award in the E-Newsletter category.
With over 30,000 New Zealand subscribers and 360,000 subscribers globally, Express is a vehicle for Intrepid's community of travellers to find inspiration, share their stories, win adventures and explore the world without even leaving their desks. Delivered to inboxes around the world every week, Express was the winning e-newsletter from an impressive 258 entries from 108 organisations. Winning gold in an international field of the travel industry's best is a tremendous honour.
Express Editor, Sue Elliot says, "Travellers, Intrepid leaders, travel writers and all sorts of adventurers contribute to Express and their efforts make it the success it is today."
The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Awards recognise exceptional achievement in a variety of endeavours, bringing acclaim to the best the Asia Pacific’s travel industry has to offer. The winning projects set industry standards for excellence and innovation, serving as examples for others to follow.
In 2007, Intrepid Travel was awarded the PATA Corporate Environment Programme Gold Award for the role their responsible travel programme plays in promoting sustainable travel.
