Ongoing Success By Mortgage Link
Mortgage Link, the national mortgage advisory group, continues to have its quality recognised by industry peers. At the recent New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association Annual Conference Mortgage Link had the largest representation of finalists from branded groups. Craig Seton (Mortgage Link Manawatu), Mark Childs (Mortgage Link Wairarapa), Karen Mooney (Mortgage Link Marlborough) and Glenda French (Mortgage Link Otago) were all regional finalists nominated by mortgage lenders. From these finalists regional winners were assessed by a panel of judges using set criteria. From the finalists Glenda French won the Otago/Southland region award while Craig Seton won the mid North Island award. This was the third consecutive win for Glenda and the sixth for Craig Seton. Craig Seton then went on to receive the NBZMA Broker of the Year Runner Up award.
Rod Templeton, Chief Executive of Mortgage Link, said “The results reinforce that our teams are expert advisers in the industry, and we are proud to again have the largest number of finalists and winners amongst the branded broker groups”.
Prior to the NZMBA Conference, the Mortgage Link group held its National Conference in Christchurch. The Conference theme of “Dare to be different ‘08” reinforced the support for strategies the group have had in place which continues to position it well in the current environment. These strategies include a focus on business planning, brand investment and working with lender partners to recognise the quality relationships the Group has with these lenders and its clients.
“While the environment is challenging, the Mortgage Link group is seeing results of its strategies and investments which continue to position us well for today and tomorrow”, said Templeton.
At the Mortgage Link National Conference Gala Dinner and Awards function the excellent performance of a number of advisers and offices was recognised. The 2008 Award winners were:
Broker of the Year – Mortgage Link Waikato
Rookie of the Year – Brent Jaslarz, Mortgage Link Manawatu
Most Improved Office - Mortgage Link Coastwide
Highest Individual Producer – Michael Paris, Mortgage Link Waikato
Highest Office Producer - Mortgage Link Manawatu
Individual of the Year – Paul Maher, Mortgage Link North
Team of the Year - Mortgage Link Waikato
