Thread Design Has Moved
Specialist linen company Thread Design has relocated from their Madden Street, Viaduct home to a modern new showroom on Grey Lynn's vibrant Richmond Road.
Company owners, Katie Collis and Sarah Sadgrove are excited about the move.
Katie Collis said “It’s great to have a space big enough to really show off our linen, instead of being hidden in an industrial area and we just love being part of the Grey Lynn community again. We've recently launched a new on-line store and have received so many calls each week from people wanting somewhere to view the entire range - so now we finally have somewhere to invite them too."
Previously Thread Design's showroom was only open to their wholesale customers, such as interior designers, retailers and home-stagers, but this move enables them to open the doors to the public.
Keeping the needs of interior designers in mind, Katie and Sarah are delighted to provide a place for designers to bring their clients to.
"It can be quite hard to visualise how the linen will look on a bed when all you can see is a folded sheet or duvet cover in its packaging. Due to space constraints, a lot of our retailers are unable to have as much on display as we can, so we hope this makes it easier for customers to see the products in situ." Sarah Sadgrove said.
The new Thread Design showroom is located at 274 Richmond Road, directly across from the entrance to Woolworths supermarket and their online store is located at www.threaddesign.co.nz.
