Aucklandʼs quintessential food gallery, Elliott Stables, has added another string to its bow, or more appropriately,
the icing to the cake. As if Elliott Stables did not offer enough temptation, The Chocolate Cake Company has now opened
its doors at the elegant eatery.
Using its secret fudge cake recipe, The Chocolate Cake Company creates decadent dark chocolate mud cakes (made and iced
with real chocolate), wedding cakes, premium cup cakes (using the same recipe), premium nougat, liqueur truffles, and
chocolate dipped Turkish Delight. Family owned and operated, The Chocolate Cake Company already has two stores, in East
Tamaki, Auckland and Lambton Quay, Wellington.
Co-owner of The Chocolate Cake Company, Murray Thwaites, says “Itʼs been great to open our shop in the exciting
community of Elliott Stablesʼ with the other artisan shops. It will also be handy for our customers, now that we have a
central location both for corporate events and easy pick up.” Due to the popularity of the live music on Thursday
nights, Elliott Stables has introduced additional live entertainment every Saturday (from 1pm to 4pm) throughout winter.
