Nextspace appoints CEO
Nextspace, the 3D visualisation industry catalyst and consultancy, has appointed Gavin Lennox as its CEO. Gavin will lead Nextspace's programme to build a visual communications industry in New Zealand which makes complex 3D data accessible, easy-to-use and interactive in a range of applications.
Gavin was formerly Group Vice President Sales & Marketing and Vice President & GM Asia-Pacific for MapInfo Corporation. He was also recently Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, with Healthphone, a growing healthcare software exporter based in Auckland. Gavin also had business and product leadership responsibilities in Canada and Europe with DoubleClick TechSolutions Europe, IBM Europe and Lotus Development.
He has extensive experience in general management, sales, marketing, services operations and in growing technology businesses throughout his career in the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA and Australia.
Gavin holds a Masters of Engineering and Bachelor of Science from Brunel University, UK.
Nextspace's establishment CEO Roy C Davies is now Chief Technology Officer and Research Director, focusing on research partnerships and product development.
