Changes To Tvworks’ Programming Structure
TVWorks has decided to take a more integrated approach to its programming structure across both TV3 and C4.
Up until now, the two channels have operated somewhat independently but the Company has decided to amalgamate the
programming functions across both channels.
Kelly Martin, currently Director of Programming TV3, assumes a Group programming role, overseeing the content and
scheduling of both TV3 and C4.
Andrew Szusterman, currently Director C4, becomes Associate Director of Programming across both channels and Mark
Caulton, currently Business Affairs Manager in Programming, also becomes Associate Director of Programming across both
channels.
Mark Caulton will have responsibility for managing content and contract requirements from both local and international
programming sources, as well as strategic planning activity.
Andrew Szusterman will remain responsible for the day-to-day management of C4, and also become involved in TV3’s
programming strategy.
“These changes are simply about taking a more streamlined approach to our TV programming strategy, to ensure that the
channels continue to complement one another in relation to their respective target audiences,” said TVWorks Chief
Operating Officer, Rick Friesen.
The changes coincide with a broadening of C4’s content to incorporate more long form programming, following the
international trends with music channels. C4 will also move to Channel 12 on SKY’s digital service from 1 July, to
reflect the broader entertainment content the channel has on offer.
