TIME offers one-stop-shop for motivation
Businesspeople are being given an unrivalled opportunity to hear some of New Zealand’s best business trainers, coaches
and motivators in a new, one-stop event in Auckland on October 3.
The inaugural TIME convention, organised by the Corporate Events Guide, will feature some of New Zealand’s most popular
professional speakers, motivators and business coaches, such as John Shackleton, Debbie Mayo-Smith and Ann Andrews.
“We are bringing together an unrivalled collection of business brains, making them all available in one venue on one
day,” says Corporate Events Guide managing director Stuart Macklin. “To learn from each of these 14 speakers
individually would cost more than $40,000, but by attending TIME businesspeople can learn from them all for less than
$300.”
Macklin said the TIME event was inspired by a desire to showcase the quality and content of our professional motivators
– all the speakers are based in New Zealand or Australia – and show that businesses do not have to rely on expensive
“experts” flown in from overseas.
“The speakers presenting at TIME have all created their own highly successful businesses, or held leadership roles in
the corporate world. They know the common issues businesses face, and they know how to overcome them.

The TIME convention will be held at the Auckland Convention Centre, THE EDGE, on Friday October 3, from 8am to 5.30pm.
Concurrent sessions will run throughout the day, with each attendee able to choose which sessions to attend, drawing up
their own personalised programme to meet their individual needs.
Hour-long sessions will be held by Allison Mooney, Ann Andrews, Bill James, Debbie Mayo-Smith, Hannah Samuel, Ian
Keightley, John Shackleton, Linda Shaw, Maria Carlton, Mike Handcock, Pete Clark, Robyn Pearce, Terry Williams and
Ngahihi o te ra Bidois. As well, eight up-and-coming professional speakers will take part in the Celebrity Speakers
Showcase, each giving 15-minute presentations.
As well, every participant will have the chance to attend a presentation by Human Rhythms, the unique and dynamic team
that inspires people to make music with drums.
