ASB joins Export New Zealand Hawke’s Bay for 2008 Export Awards
Export New Zealand Hawke’s Bay Region welcomes ASB as naming sponsor of the ASB Hawke’s Bay Export Awards. The awards
celebrate and acknowledge Hawke’s Bay exporters and their successes as they export New Zealand goods around the globe.
“We’re delighted that ASB has joined us for the second year of the Awards,” said Bruce Robertson, Regional Manager for
Export NZ Hawke’s Bay. “Their ongoing support of exporters dovetails nicely with Export New Zealand’s goals to help
exporters grow their business in the international market.”
Hawke’s Bay is the newest Export NZ region and started the Export Awards just last year. Mr Robertson is looking forward
to duplicating last year’s fun and successful event when more than 220 exporters, export service providers, friends and
neighbours gathered to celebrate exporting excellence at the Hawke’s Bay Opera House.
Three awards for exporting excellence will be presented this year at a Gala Dinner at Hawke’s Bay Opera House in
Hastings on 29 August with Masters of Ceremony Paul Holmes. They are:
- Hawke’s Bay Today Exporter of the Year
- Go Group NZ Limited Emerging Exporter of the Year
- Port of Napier Outstanding Service to the Hawke’s Bay Export Industry Award
