NZ Wine Wins Top International Trophy
Success for Saint Clair Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2007
Saint Clair Family Estate continues its trophy-winning streak with its renowned Sauvignon Blanc. The Marlborough based
winery has been awarded the Trophy for the Top New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc over £10 at the 2008 Decanter World Wine
Awards in London.
The competition is the world’s largest with over 9000 entries and is regarded as one of the toughest annual wine judging
events held globally.
Saint Clair’s managing director, Neal Ibbotson says, “Although this is not the first award the Saint Clair Marlborough
Sauvignon Blanc 2007 has won, this award holds special significance for us because United Kingdom is not only our
largest market, but is also the world’s most competitive wine market. We are delighted that our hard-working team has
been recognized at such prestigious awards.”
Saint Clair Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2007 has previously won two gold medals and Champion Sauvignon Blanc trophy at
the Liquorland Top 100 Wine Competition 2007, has a five-star award from Winestate magazine and a high four-star rating
from Cuisine.
Saint Clair Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2007 is available from all good wine outlets and restaurants throughout New
Zealand. It has a recommended RRP of $19.95 to $20.95.
