The Awards were preceded by a conference day of seminars for the magazine industry. The conference theme was “Where Will
Magazines be in 2013?” Approximately 150 magazine publishing staff attended the conference, the biggest gathering of the
year for New Zealand’s magazine publishing industry, and the theme was hotly discussed. The conclusion is that New
Zealand will continue to be one of the world’s most vibrant and energetic magazine markets, with an enthusiastic
industry that is in very good shape.
