Employees dishing the dirt on bosses
Employees that are struggling with a terrible manager have been given a chance to blow off some steam.
Christchurch business consultancy Niche Forecasting is putting together a book titled "The Inside Dirt on New Zealand
Managers". It will be a collection of stories about our fantastic and our terrible boss and management experiences. It
is not a book of petty 'moans and groans' but a book of insight and real cases of what is happening in our kiwi
workplaces, what we can be proud of and what we can improve on.
Niche Forecasting director Allison O'Neill says "It will give managers a really deep inside look at what life is like
for kiwi employees, while giving employees the opportunity to speak up about the fabulous and the terrible things they
have experienced from NZ managers throughout their working life". O'Neill encourages employees to share their stories as
by doing so they will be helping create managers we love to work for. "It is not about defaming or embarrassing people
as all submissions are totally anonymous - naming the boss or company is not encouraged and submitters will not be
named."
