Pernod Ricard wins Outstanding Supplier of the Year Award
Pernod Ricard New Zealand (formerly Montana Wines), the country’s premier wine and spirits company, received the Outstanding Supplier of the Year Award, as nominated by the hospitality community, at the prestigious 2008 Lewisham Foundation Awards gala on 25th May.
The awards ceremony held at Sky City, was an evening of glitz and glamour attended by over 650 of the cream of the crop of Auckland’s hospitality industry, to not only celebrate the industry, but to honour commitment to this exciting and vibrant business.
Pernod Ricard New Zealand was delighted to receive the Food Service Magazine Outstanding Supplier Award which recognises consistent and prompt product delivery, commitment to top quality and innovative products and customer loyalty.
“We are extremely proud to be recognised and acknowledged by our hospitality peers as an outstanding supplier to such a vibrant industry. This achievement by the entire Pernod Ricard New Zealand team is a great honour”, said Pernod Ricard’s managing director, Fabian Partigliani.
Pernod Ricard New Zealand’s national brand ambassador spirits, Nigel Kelly, was a finalist for the Outstanding Sales Representative Award, testament to his exceptional dedication and passion to the hospitality scene.
The Lewisham Foundation was originally set up in 2003 to promote and lift the standards in Auckland’s hospitality industry. The Awards were industry inspired and created to honour Auckland’s industry greats. The dedicated committee members are made up of a mix of industry professionals who all bring valuable knowledge and expertise to the table.
The Lewisham Foundation Awards are administered by The Restaurant Association of New Zealand and 2008 is the sixth year of the premier industry event.
