Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has announced the appointment of insolvency and property finance specialist Michael Langdon to the firm.
Michael has over 15 years’ experience advising clients in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom in banking, financial law, restructuring and insolvency. His experience in these areas covers a wide range of domestic and cross-border financings (at both the senior and mezzanine levels) and all levels of insolvency and business restructuring/recovery (from multinational restructurings to single company insolvencies). Michael joins the firm as a partner, once the requirements of the law society are met.
CEO, Mark Weenink, comments: “Michael is an excellent addition to the partnership. Michael has two practices; insolvency and finance. On the insolvency front Michael's wide experience compliments the team’s national expertise. We can now boast one of the premier insolvency practices in New Zealand at a time when insolvency work is on the rise. We have also been searching for a property finance partner and are fortunate that Michael has extensive experience in this area of expertise.
