Y on the ball with Netball New Zealand
Netball New Zealand today announced the appointment of Y as its official advertising agency partner.
Netball is iconic, exciting and more visible than ever before with a unique position as New Zealand’s leading sport for
women. It is also one of the top three sports in New Zealand in terms of its following by both men and women.
“It’s for exactly that reason that we are thrilled to be chosen as an official partner. The team here have a love,
respect and passion for netball and will work closely with Netball New Zealand to develop, grow and promote netball in
New Zealand,” said Jon Ramage CEO of Y
“From the elite level of The Silver Ferns to grassroots netball, kiwis love the game, we want to be part of keeping it
that way and making it even bigger”, he added.
Netball New Zealand Chief Executive Raelene Castle said, “2008 will see many new directions within the netball landscape
and Netball New Zealand is at a stage where we need to consolidate our marketing initiatives and adopt an innovative
approach in the sporting marketplace. We believe that with Y’s integrated model they are perfectly positioned to assist us.”
