“Tamsin Cooper”, New Zealand’s much loved fashion and accessories label debuts in London at Pulse 2008.
Tamsin Cooper leaves her Arrowtown home next week to travel to London. Cooper’s comprehensive range of fashion
accessories has been selected to show at the design-led trade show “Pulse”, held at Earls Court. Delighted to be
selected from an impressive range of applicants, she believes the time is right for her business to expand into new
markets, and that this is a perfect opportunity to create a retail presence in the United Kingdom.
“We believe that the “Pulse” show is the best place for us to launch “Tamsin Cooper” to both British and European
markets. Our timeless, exquisitely hand-made products are ideally suited to these markets who have a history of
appreciating quality and fine workmanship. With the tremendous assistance we have received from New Zealand Trade and
Enterprise and the Fashion Incubator in Dunedin, we are looking forward to expanding on our existing relationships with
retailers in the UK and taking advantage of the extremely positive media feedback we have already received.” Tamsin
Cooper explains.
The “Tamsin Cooper” label reflects a truly global perspective, designed in Arrowtown by her family owned business, her
designs combine time-honoured Vietnamese craftsmanship with western design aesthetics. A close relationship of over a
decade has been forged with the manufacturers of Cooper’s designs who are a small family based company in Hanoi,
Vietnam.
Trading with a conscience is essential to the way the company works and it donates annually to a respected New
Zealand/Vietnamese aid organisation.
Tamsin believes this is a springboard to exciting future endeavors and sees it as the natural next step in taking her
label global.
