2007/08 financial year, with the Number One in New Zealand to be announced at Harcourts national conference later this
month.
The top four, who are all long-standing Harcourts sales consultants, were named last week as:

In addition, the Rookie of the Year for 2007/08 in Harcourts Northern region was named as rural/lifestyle property

Harcourts New Zealand's National Rural Manager Kim Shannon says the award winners, who were all honoured at regional end
of year awards functions last week, are all top performers in the competitive rural property market.
"The top four are all long-standing members of the Harcourts group with decades of experience as rural property sales
consultants between them, plus extensive local market knowledge and all-important customer service and negotiation
skills.
Along with Ms Graham, who is an industry new-comer, they are all very successful operators in the rural property market
sector who have built an excellent reputation and established a large and loyal client base in their respective area
based on the service the deliver and the results they achieve."
The Top Rural Sales Consultant in New Zealand for the year ended 31 March 2008 and many other national award-winners
will be announced at Harcourts highly anticipated National Awards dinner, a black tie event held at the end of the
group's Annual Conference, which this year is being held in Christchurch from 26 - 28 May.
Editor's Notes:
Jean-Paul Winckel is one of Harcourts Rural's most consistent performers, regularly amongst the most successful in his
field in Harcourts Northern region and nationally. Based in Harcourts Pukekohe Rural office Mr Winckel, who joined
Harcourts in 2000, is well established in the Franklin District where he specialises largely in lifestyle property
marketing and sales. A very professional operator, Mr Winckel has considerable experience and substantial local
knowledge.
David Clarke has been involved in rural and commercial real estate along with property development since 1990,
following eight years as South Island manager of Lockwood Homes and 13 years as a farmer in Marlborough's Awatere
Valley. Based in Harcourts Grenadier Real Estate Ltd's Christchurch City office, Mr Clarke is involved in marketing all
types of rural properties together with providing advice on subdivision and resource consents. With Harcourts since
2001, during his real estate career Mr Clarke has been involved in selling everything from a 1608 hectare farm to small
lifestyle blocks. He is also active in the community and the owner of a Canterbury vineyard.
Kevin Deane is an established rural sales consultant and also the successful co-owner of four Harcourts offices in the
Waikato. During his 12 years in the real estate industry Mr Deane, a former dairy farmer, has developed an excellent
reputation for his down to earth and professional approach, along with his superb understanding of the rural real estate
market. Also a dedicated family man, a keen supporter of the community and a successful multi-sport athlete Mr Deane's
commitment, energy and enthusiasm are also renowned in the industry and are attributes that have helped him to establish
a large and loyal client base. With Harcourts since late 1995 Mr Deane is successfully involved in the full spectrum of
rural property sales from lifestyle blocks to and huge farm sales and has been the Top Rural Sales Consultant in the
Central Region a number of times. Along with his wife Andrea in April 2002 he assumed ownership of Harcourts
Morrinsville office (which he still manages). The pair now also own Harcourts offices in Cambridge, Ngaruawahia and
Matamata.
Tony Bailey has been a Rural Sales Consultant with Harcourts Hastings for the past 15 years, involved in selling all
types of rural property in Hawke's Bay. An experienced and consistent performer with a large and established network, Mr
Bailey is a quiet achiever who has regularly received annual honours within Harcourts, including being named Top Rural
Sales Consultant in New Zealand on one occasion. His professionalism and focus on delivering excellent customer service
along with his extensive knowledge of Hawke's Bay's rural properties and soil types have made him one of the most
respected rural sales consultants in the area.
Sue Graham, who is based in Harcourts Kumeu office, started her career with Harcourts in February last year, and in a
short time has developed an excellent reputation and achieved marked success. Formerly in the recruitment sector Ms
Graham is very articulate, highly motivated, hard-working and professional. During her career to date she has largely
focused on lifestyle property sales.
