PRESS RELEASE:
Octafuel Launches Hybrid Fuel System To Fit 99.9% Of All Vehicles – Claims Of 30% Saving On Fuel Costs Good News For
Motorists.
OctaFuel announced it officially launches in New Zealand on 1 June 2008 – which is welcome news to motorists of almost
every type, given that OctaFuel’s new Retro-fitted Hybrid Fuel Cell technology fits 99.9% of all petrol and diesel
vehicles, says Nick Conaglen, one of the co-founders of OctaFuel – and co-founder of other innovative New Zealand
Start-up’s like One Hundred Dollars Cash and Invoice Advance New Zealand.
“Everyone loves a great New Zealand made product that saves money, is good for the environment, and provides new jobs
for kiwi’s”, says Nick. “Particularly given our current economic outlook – with the price of fuel rising, set against an
economic downturn and increased compliance costs surrounding carbon credits.”
“It’s good news for motorists, and for New Zealand!”
The OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel System – which utilises proven technology that is growing increasingly popular among thousands
of motorists in countries like Australia and Canada – converts excess vehicle heat and energy to Hydrogen – a gas. The
gas produced provides up to 40% of a vehicle’s fuel needs.
“The OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cell is made and serviced in NZ, and uses a proven technology that is a similar technology to
other companies installing similar systems in Australia and Canada. Also, car manufacturers are about to release a range
of new vehicles using a similar technology to the OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cell,” says Nick.
OctaFuel installs OctaFuel Dual Fuel Hybrid Fuel Cells into 99.9% of all vehicles – and it doesn’t matter whether a
vehicle is petrol powered or diesel powered. Once installed, the OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cell can save you upwards of 15% -
40% on your fuel costs (depending on how you drive), says Nick.
“And of course, the OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cell is 100% safe, does not void new car warranties, and is guaranteed
unconditionally for three years against failure – as long as it is correctly fitted and serviced. OctaFuel also offers
an unconditional 100% money-back guarantee for three months from the date of installation – just for the peace of mind
of the general public,” he says.
“As well, maintenance costs are minimal – the unit must be serviced every three months by OctaFuel. This is a part of
your warrantee requirement, but only costs $35+GST. The only other maintenance required is keeping the water reservoir
topped up - check when refuelling.”
Nick continues: “We’ve kept it cheap and simple – because we’d like every New Zealander to install an OctaFuel Hybrid
Fuel Cell – not just because it saves motorists thousands of dollars – also because this is an environmentally friendly
product that actively reduces carbon emissions – the only by-product our Fuel Cells produce is water.”
OctaFuel is currently offering 50 OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cells across New Zealand at a special price this month through
TradeMe to gather testimonials before launching fully into a large campaign across NZ after June.
“This is an opportunity for some forward-thinking kiwi’s to get their hands on one of these new Hybrid Fuel Cells –
saving themselves up to $1,000 off the normal RRP,” Nick says. “The only condition of purchasing at a discounted price
is that you must provide a testimonial for OctaFuel about the product – so that others can feel safe about buying an
OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cell.”
OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cells can only be installed and serviced in the following locations: Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga,
Wellington, Christchurch. New franchises are set to open throughout the year.
OctaFuel will need your vehicle for a full day to install the OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cell to your vehicle. The cost
includes installation at one of our authorised service centres.
“Take a look at our TradeMe Listings – just search for OctaFuel and you’ll find us,” Says Nick. “We’re really looking
forward to seeing thousands of OctaFuel Hybrid Fuel Cells operating across Aotearoa – keep an eye out for the OctaFuel
symbol on the back of cars from next month.”
