Low Cost ALARMSERVER Solution
ALARM New Zealand has released today it’s low cost ALARMSERVER solution for legacy analog security alarm systems. The company says that there are approx 200,000 home and business Alarms systems in N.Z. that need conversion to broadband.
Because Telco’s worldwide are set to move away from exchange based analog voice services and move to VoIP, consumers could be left with no choice but to migrate their alarms to IP Alarm technology to obtain a reliable communications for alarm monitoring.
ALARM New Zealand informed the telecoms market earlier this year that Alarm signaling via VoIP(POTS) is better handled by IP Ethernet gateway. Analog to digital conversion devices like ALARMSERVER offer consumers a cost effective path to IP based alarm monitoring without replacing existing security alarm system, it should prove very popular.
Previously in October last year released the company released the worlds first approved brigade monitored Fire ALARMSERVER and has used that experience to develop this new security ALARMSERVER that is available today.
The company says that consumers will make savings and have a viable option to extend the life of their existing security equipment when migrating to broadband. Most ISP’s are expected promote the ALARMSERVER device as it’s the only industry approved solution in the market.
