Bag Two Bottles Of Allan Scott And Help The Environment
Family Winemaker Allan Scott has produced stylish, environmentally friendly two-bottle bags to be sold in Glengarry and Super Liquor stores during May and then available at various outlets from June.
Customers can buy two bottles from Allan Scott’s still white wine range – including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Unoaked Chardonnay and Riesling varietals – and will pay just $30 for both plus get the environmentally friendly bottle bag for free.
The bags came about because it is Allan’s firm belief that his business should make every effort to “put back in what we take out”. He saw an opportunity to encourage shoppers to create less waste when they buy their wine with the help of the stylish and practical bags.
Allan was raised on an organic farm, and continues to harness and promote environmentally friendly practise on the family business, wherever and whenever possible.
The bags are just one of a number of environmentally conscious initiatives the Scott family is rolling out this year. Others include a tree-planting programme, the purchase of new ‘green’ tractors and the production of the first organic Allan Scott wine.
