Equipment suited to New Zealand forestry to be sold in unreserved Ritchie Bros. auction
CHEMAINUS, BC, April 14 /CNW-AsiaNet/ -– A large selection of equipment well suited to New Zealand forestry practices will be sold when Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA) conducts an unreserved auction in Chemainus, British Columbia, Canada on April 22, 2008. More than 400 forestry, transportation and other equipment items will be sold to the highest bidders on auction day -- regardless of price. Among the forestry equipment that will be sold: two 2002 Madill 124 interlocking grapple yarders -- which are among the largest pieces of forestry equipment in the world, feller bunchers, processors, skidders, log loaders, log trucks, log trailers and rigging. The auction will be open to the public and completely unreserved, with no minimum bids and no reserve prices.
