Bank of New Zealand Appoints New Directors
Bank of New Zealand has appointed Stephen Moir and Dr Andy Pearce as non-executive directors, effective April 14th.
This follows the recent appointment of John Waller to the Board and increases the number of non-executive directors in advance of future retirements from the Board.
Mr Moir is a member of the NZX Discipline Panel and has a background in banking. He has held senior roles, both in New Zealand and overseas, with a focus on treasury, institutional banking and financial markets.
Dr Pearce has extensive experience as a director in a diverse range of businesses including technology and research-based organisations. He is currently chairman of a number of companies including Wool Equities Limited and is on several other boards. He has also held senior executive roles, notably 13 years as Chief Executive Officer of Landcare Research New Zealand Limited.
