Recent General Manager Changes At Accor
Changes continue within Accor as several General Managers relocate for challenges at new hotels.
Accor recently announced that Carl Braddock will leave the newly refurbished Novotel Lakeside Queenstown (formerly
Novotel Gardens Queenstown) to take up a new position as General Manager at Hotel Ibis Christchurch. Jim Moore will move
from his position as General Manager at Mercure Hotel Auckland to take up the reins at Novotel Lakeside Queesntown.
Following this announcement, Dick Breukink has left Hotel Ibis Christchurch to take up the position of General Manager
Novotel Tanui Hamilton & Hotel Ibis Tanui Hamilton.
Dick started his role at Novotel Tainui & Hotel Ibis Hamilton just after Easter and is looking forward to a new life in the Waikato region.

other things, Novotel Tainui Hamilton is well known for hosting many sporting groups and we are very much looking
forward to hosting the Hamilton V8 Supercars participants and guests.”
Dick has been with Accor for the last 17 years and has managed hotels in Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, the
Netherlands and New Zealand. During the last two years he managed Mercure Hotel Dunedin on an interim basis and oversaw
the opening of Hotel Ibis Christchurch, which was newly built and opened its doors on 1 June 2007.
