People not technology make difference says IT company in appointing new senior exec
Christchurch, 26 March 2008. - Information technology (IT) consulting company Clarus Limited today announced the appointment of Barry McAlpine to the new position of Human Resources Manager.
"Technology is not the cause of most IT project failures - it is people," says Clarus' Managing Director Edwin Dando. "We've invested in a high calibre HR manager to help ensure we have the best people working on our clients' IT projects."
Prior to joining Clarus Mr McAlpine has been working in senior in-house HR roles and HR consulting in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
"Barry is a perfect fit for Clarus because he has a vast range of experience across the IT sector and has been involved in numerous high-profile HR projects on behalf of leading worldwide organisations," said Mr Dando.
