Key manager for Aspen on Queenstown
Aspen on Queenstown, owned by Tanoa Hotels has secured local talent, Vijay Naiker as its Executive Assistant Manager.
Vijay starts his new role on 31st March as second in charge at Aspen on Queenstown.
His initial responsibilities include overall management of rooms division, reservations, recruiting, training, managing staff, budgets and reporting.
Vijay was inducted into hospitality at BreakFree Alpine Village, followed more recently by Garden Court Suites and Apartments.
His first management role in Queenstown was Site Manager for Caltex Queenstown.
Vijay's industry experience includes running and promoting a national tourism marketing body, national and international sales and marketing and has previously held positions in both rooms division and reservations.
Vijay brings with him a diverse range of retail and customer services skills along with his fantastic marketing abilities and will be a valued addition to the Aspen on Queenstown team.
Tanoa Hotels is a family owned business established over 30 years ago. With six hotels in Fiji and two hotels in New Zealand, one in the adventure capital of Queenstown in the South Island, and one in Paihia, in the beautiful Bay of Islands in the North Island. Each hotel is unique and the accommodation ranges from four-star hotel accommodation to modest standard accommodation.
